What started as a love for boho-style gatherings and seaside escapes has grown into a way for us to help others slow down, connect, and celebrate in style. Our picnics blend the rustic charm of a classic picnic with elevated touches — ceramic plates, glassware, linen napkins, and curated decor — so you get the beauty without the waste.
We’re based on the stunning South Coast, styling dreamy picnics, proposals, and intimate celebrations from Southbourne to Sandbanks. Each setup shares our signature laid-back, bohemian vibe, yet no two are ever the same. We mix and match colourful accents, textured fabrics, and unique decor pieces so your experience feels completely your own.
We use beautiful faux florals for a long-lasting, eco-friendly touch — but if you’d love fresh flowers, we can make that happen too.
From the first message you send to the moment you arrive, our goal is to make everything seamless. We bring everything, style everything, and pack everything away. All you need to do is show up, relax, and make memories.

Meet the Founders
We’re two friend mums — Tania and Charlene — whose paths crossed thanks to our kids.little did we know, they would bring us together not only as friends but as business partners. We’re from the same country, met here on the South Coast, and quickly realised we share the same passion for creating beautiful, meaningful moments.
Sage & Sea was born from that friendship and a shared dream of building something special. The name itself was carefully chosen, inspired by our love for all things mystical (like calming sage) and our deep connection to the South Coast’s beauty (the ever-changing sea).
Sage and Sea also represent us — two different elements, each beautiful in its own way, yet even more magical together. Our styles and strengths may be different, but the way we think, create, and work complements each other perfectly. This may be our small business, but it’s one we pour our hearts into, bringing passion and care to every picnic, proposal, and setup we create.
