Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel:

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event are eligible for a refund, excluding the retainer fee.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable, but we are happy to reschedule your picnic at no extra cost, once within 6 months (subject to availability).

All cancellations or changes must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp and confirmed by us in return.
Weather Policy
We keep a close eye on the weather and will communicate with you if bad weather is expected.
In the case of rain or extreme conditions:

We’ll do our best to relocate or reschedule your picnic.

Canopies or indoor setups may be offered for an additional fee.

If severe weather makes it unsafe to proceed and no indoor solution is possible, we will offer you a new date, free of charge.
We will only cancel on our end in extreme or unavoidable situations. If this happens, we’ll provide a full refund or reschedule as you prefer.
Equipment, Damages & Inventory
A full setup inventory checklist will be shared upon delivery and reviewed again during collection.
Please treat all items with care. If something gets damaged or lost:

We’ll assess the cost and deduct it from your security deposit (if applicable).

If damage exceeds the deposit, a separate invoice will be sent.

You may be liable for any missing items due to loss or theft during your hire.
Booking, Retainer & Payment
To secure your date, a £20 non-refundable retainer is required. This amount will be applied to your final balance and is transferable once within 6 months, subject to availability.
The remaining balance is due no later than 5 days prior to your event date.
We accept payment via direct bank transfer, payment link, or cash. Receipts can be provided upon request.
General Responsibility
Sage & Sea is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage during your event unless directly caused by our setup or equipment.
Please ensure that any public or private locations you choose allow event setups, and that you have the proper permissions.
By booking with us and confirming your inventory checklist, you agree to these terms.
